LEGO Horizon Adventures (PS5)

Version 1.000.000 included on disc. Both Beauty and Performance modes are included on disc.

Changes & Additions in the patch:
⁃ Beauty Mode was renamed to Fidelity mode in the patch.

⁃ Constructing buildings is done in the disc build by spending studs, but the patch changes it so that you need to reach a certain number of golden bricks to build them instead.

⁃ Adventures in the disc build were renamed to Free Mode Expeditions in the patch

⁃ The patch adds additional Community Jobs to the board

⁃ The patch adds 9 additional outfits

⁃ The patch adds Apex Machine hunts to the game after beating it, as well as adding separate red bricks for defeating them. In the patch you are required to beat these to unlock Expeditions, while they’re unlocked right away in the disc build.

Issues:
⁃ Observed the Sun flickering in and out during a few cutscenes early in the game

⁃ After completing the first Cauldron, the game briefly showed the player being teleported out of bounds, right before the level ended

⁃ The trophy for completing the first Cauldron didn’t unlock after the first one. It only unlocked after completing the second one. The trophy for completing 3 Cauldrons also only unlocked after completing 4 of them.

⁃ During the final cutscene of the Desert area, one of the voice lines doesn’t start playing exactly when it should and the end of the line gets cut off as a result

⁃ Encountered one instance where all the enemies in an encounter instantly died before reaching the area, but it didn’t happen again after reloading the level.

⁃ After finishing the game, the game never spawned any more minibosses during freeplay. Unsure if this is just really bad RNG but it did mean it wasn’t possible to complete the Community Job for killing 5 minibosses

Content Completed:
⁃ Entire main story completed
⁃ All optional objectives for each area completed
⁃ All of the Community Jobs completed, except for the one for beating 5 minibosses
⁃ Max level reached for one character
⁃ All of the trophies earned, except for the one for reaching max level for every character

Overall the game can be beaten off disc just fine and there doesn’t seem to be anything preventing you from getting the platinum trophy, but the patch adds some extra content that makes the disc build feel a bit inferior in comparison.
